Rolling Out A New YouTube Channel

Working, managing the kids’ schedules, preparing for house visits, volunteering at schools, household management from groceries to pest control are all in a day’s work for a working mom, so it did cross my mind I must be crazy to start another pet project – a YouTube platform.

The intention was to create a Youtube Channel to spread the words of not just my works, but more importantly, the awareness of global issues such as the causes and effects of global warming, pollution facts and diversities. Videos on well-researched topics on parenting tips will also be shared on YouTube in a more visual and fun manner.

Why YouTube Channel, you might ask, when I am already sharing similar materials on the website’s resources page?

Well, here are some mind-boggling statistics we just can’t ignore about the World’s second largest search engine and second most visited site after Google.

YouTube is the 2nd most popular social media platform with 1.9bn users.

On average, there are 1,000,000,000 mobile video views per day.

In a 2018’s survey, around 80% of US parents turn to YouTube for tips, information and children’s content.

Besides all that, I think it’s important for parents to have a supportive community—consider it a place or community to raise positive kids with healthy attitude and growth mindset together!

Side note: We are now a small team, and hoping to expand to more like-minded parents and staffs on the same cause as we are. Also, the intention is to change the channel name to something more fun and relevant. Will be happy to hear from you. Write us at hello@helengauthor.com if you are happy to help.

Don’t forget to subscribe – new materials will be uploaded on a bi-weekly basis.
